U.S. forces captured six ISIS militants in a collection of helicopter raids in jap Syria over the past 48 hours, Central Command (CENTCOM) introduced on Tuesday.
The captured terrorists embrace al-Zubaydi, whom CENTCOM describes as an Islamic State Syria Province Senior Official concerned in orchestrating assaults in Syria.

“These partnered operations reaffirm CENTCOM’s steadfast dedication to the area and the enduring defeat of ISIS,” CENTCOM Commander Gen. Michael “Erik” Kurilla stated in an announcement.
“The seize of those ISIS operatives will disrupt the terrorist group’s capability to additional plot and perform destabilizing assaults.”

About 900 U.S. troops are nonetheless stationed in Syria, partnering with Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces and different allied teams in operations in opposition to ISIS.
