Uncommon sky phenomenon caught on digital camera in China – #ufo #unusual
Take a look at this unusual round rainbow cloud noticed in China on August 21, 2022.
That is referred to as a “scarf cloud”, which happens when a thunderstorm’s updraft creates a pileus cloud and the solar’s angle interacts with the ice crystals within the pileus cloud.
The headband cloud is fashioned by the cooling and condensation of moist air compelled up and over the height. When the daylight is on the proper angle, the sunshine diffracts between the droplets and the ice crystals within the cloud, making a rainbow shade.
