Former Va. Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax’s #TheyLied Libel Lawsuit Towards N.Y. Public Radio

It was simply filed at present, Fairfax v. N.Y. Public Radio & WNYC (E.D. Va. Aug. 6, 2022); I am touring and so do not have time to investigate it intently, however I believed I might hyperlink to the Criticism. This is the opening, which in fact is simply Fairfax’s allegation:

This defamation swimsuit arises primarily from deliberately fabricated, false, and politically-motivated specific and implied defamatory per se and per quod statements made with “precise malice” by each Meredith Watson … and Vanessa Tyson … alleging fictitious and deliberately fabricated sexual assaults by Justin Fairfax towards them in 2000 and 2004, respectively. These statements have been printed, republished, repeated, endorsed and offered as truth – each expressly and in context – with “precise malice” by NYPR and Melissa Harris-Perry … on or about August 6, 2021, throughout a broadcast of NYPR’s and WNYC’s information program “The Takeaway” titled “Politics, Energy, and Abuse.”
