President Biden on Tuesday will meet with Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell to debate record-high inflation earlier than assembly the Ok-pop group BTS.
In line with the White Home agenda, Biden will first meet with New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern earlier than assembly with Powell to debate the state of the U.S. economic system.
Biden has not met with Powell since November when he introduced his consideration to appoint him for a second time period as Federal Reserve Chairman. The assembly comes because the U.S. battles the best ranges of inflation in 40 years and is predicted to worsen.
The seven-piece Ok-pop supergroup BTS will be a part of Biden on the White Home later within the afternoon to debate Asian hate crimes.
In a press release, the White Home stated Biden and BTS will “talk about the significance of variety and inclusion and BTS’ platform as youth ambassadors who unfold a message of hope and positivity the world over.”
The assembly will come on the ultimate day of the Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. BTS’ hit track “Butter” spent weeks dominating the pop charts earlier in 2022.
Tuesday’s assembly is not going to be the primary time Biden has met with youthful music artists. Throughout the 2020 presidential marketing campaign he was interviewed by rapper Cardi B to debate racism and free schooling. Final summer time, popstar Olivia Rodrigo visited the White Home to advertise COVID-19 youth vaccination.
